Arte Rainforest of the Sea Volume Iii Eye Shadow Palette
I've been a long time supporter of Tarte, peculiarly their eye products. I originally went to their website because I needed more of their mascara, and that's when I saw it: 25% off (virtually) everything. To say I was excited was an understatement.

I've had my optics on their Rainforest of the Sea eyeshadow palettes, and I ended up purchasing two of them, along with my mascara and mini lipsticks to try. I'll be sure to review the other products from my Tarte haul in hereafter posts, but in today's blog, I want to focus on ane product in particular.
My New Favorite Eyeshadow Palette: Tarte Rainforest of the Sea (Vol. 3)
This palette is a game changer. I was looking for the perfect summer palette and Tarte delivered. Every shade shimmers beautifully in the lite and is well pigmented. I was originally drawn to this palette because I idea I could use some of them for highlighting & contouring. And I definitely tin!

Ordinarily when I buy a palette, at that place ends upwards being at least two colors that I never use. That isn't the case with these colors. While I like to go along my function makeup routine pretty minimal (I'm non the easiest to wake upward in the morning time..), I love these colors so much that I'k getting up extra early so I tin try new looks every mean solar day of the week.
Colors in the Palette
Below is a breakup of each color, followed by a look I created this weekend for a family unit celebration!
Treasure
Treasure is a super stunning white shimmery color. I beloved using it to highlight my forehead os!
Escape
Similar to Treasure, Escape is flaunting it's shimmer. Escape is more than of a gilded color though. I personally love highlighting my cheek bones with colors that are more beige than white, so I love this shade equally both an eyeshadow and a highlighter!
Tiki
Tiki is definitely the least shimmery shade in the entire palette. Don't be fooled; there'due south definitely notwithstanding some sparkle, but non every bit much as the others.
Oestrus Wave
Who tin resist a pop of pinkish? Nix too overwhelming, Heat Wave is more than of a pink/mauve/shimmer mix. Information technology pairs really romantically with the colors mentioned above, and boldly with the colors below!
Malibu
The darkest shade in the palette, Malibu is the warm and flossy brown that I've been longing for. Because I have light brown eyes, I endeavour to choose browns that have warm and/or red undertones to them. Information technology's the perfect shade for the outer corners!
Rays
With the name Rays, it's no surprise this colour is bronzed and cute! Because I have a bit of a tan, this colour blends in seamlessly with my pare tone right now. I've fallen in love!
Compass
Similar to Escape, simply with an actress splash of gold. I haven't had much time to play around with this color yet, but I know it's going to complement my skin tone and centre colour.
Precious stone
Jewel is my new go to for my crease color. It'southward the perfect shade of brown and actually makes my eyes pop!
Eyeshadow Tutorial for Chocolate-brown Eyes

First, I practical Escape all over my lid, and spread it upward a picayune bit into my crease merely to help the colors blend together nicely. I then added Gem to my crease, and Malibu to my outer corner. Be sure to utilise a blending blush to have a seamless transition from color to color! For my finishing touches, I added Treasure to my brow bone and inner crease. I then applied my Tarte Lights, Photographic camera, Lashes mascara and my eyes were complete! Note: Feel free to add some eyeliner if you lot wish.
And that'south it! Honestly, these colors are then captivating that you lot don't need to spend hours trying to perfect a lengthy tutorial. The shades speak for themselves! For anyone out there looking for their go to palette this summer, I highly recommend Tarte's Rainforest of the Bounding main (Vol. 3) Eyeshadow Palette. What are your go to looks for the summer?
